Multivariate Statistical Analysis in Educational Research: A series of research seminars for HDR students

Presenter(s): Dr Tasos Barkatsas
Date: Thursday, 31 May 2012
Time: 04:30 - 06:00 pm
Location: Rm G08, Build 6 for all other seminars

Dr Tasos Barkatsas (HDR Statistical Advisor and Mathematics Education Lecturer, Faculty of Education) has developed a series of research seminars on the use of Multivariate Statistical Analysis in Educational Research. The series will cover both the theoretical and applied aspects of the techniques under consideration. This series is suitable for HDR students who are planning to collect statistical data or students who have already collected statistical data that incorporate more than one independent and dependent variables (continuous or discrete). Dr Barkatsas has utilised the statistical techniques covered in the series in his research studies and they will be discussed in the seminars.

The series will run from 4.30pm to 6pm on certain Thursdays during 2012 and it is suitable for both full-time and part-time HDR students. All Research students are welcome.

The titles and the dates of the seminars are the following (Thursdays 4.30PM-6.00PM):
